Still a great hotel---I have been coming to the Millenium for work since it was the Crowne Plaza, this time I can for vacation. The location is excellent for going to the Harbor, Zhangshan Lu or Park, Xiamen university or Nantupuo. The rooms are comfortable and well laid out. We had upgraded to the club floor and got breakfast, internet (high speed wifi), and cocktails at happy hour. Breakfast buffet is a large spread that generally changes everyday. English skills are ok for basic needs.
“A great experience and wonderful service”---We recently stayed at the Millennium Harbourview Hotel in Xiamen and had a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel is nearby Zhongshan Lu, the popular walking street, and a few minutes from the walkway view Gulangyu island. Everyone from the reception desk to concierge staff were attentive and followed up with our requests. The restaurant staff in particular are very well organized and frequently check if you need anything. The room was clean
“Service still as great! Standards remain the same every time!”---It has been a year since I last stayed in this hotel. The experience was still as perfect as before. I stayed in the same hotel so I did not include any photos of the room as it was the same. Do refer to my previous post for the photos of the hotel.
“Very nice hotel in a great location.”---Just a little bit nicer than most of the hotels that I stay in when in China. Everything was just a little bit higher quality. The staff were exceptionally helpful, their English is not as good as you might expect in a major city but that’s a factor of Xiamen being a Chinese vacation destination not a western destination.
“Great customer service”---The staff of this hotel is very friendly and helpful. They go all out to provide excellent customer service. The buffet at the hotel is wonderful. The hotel is located close to lots of shopping as well as Gu Lan yu Island which you will want to visit. I have stayed there several times and really enjoyed it.
