Xiamen Philharmonic in Philharmonie Hall Berlin
On the 22nd of Nov I had the pleasure of listening to the master class conductor’ s concert  which was filled with the passion of Beethoven’s work, which I enjoyed immensely. As a reult I wish to say a very public ‘thank-you’ for what was a splendid concert to the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, and a special ‘thank you’ to  Zheng Xiao Ying. 

From now on, I feel to that I need to spend more time going to concerts,  a totally different experience from listening to classical works on my stereo system at home. Xiamen Philharmonic is a first class orchestra, one of the best in China , and one of world class renown.  For me the soul of the Philharmonic  though is Zheng Xiao Ying, glamorous and admirable, a first class conductor of skill: a great orchestra led by a great conductor.

Zheng Xiao Ying’s places much of the credit for the first China Master Class in Xiamen onto her partner ,conductor Fu Ren Chang , the vice Director of Xiamen Philharmonic. He has an international network with great conductor teachers in the world. Since April 2005 he was appointed as the principal conductor by ‘Das Sinfonie Orchester Berlin’ and conduct ed in the famous Philharmonie Hall Berlin. I met him for the first time in the Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen  where Prof. Panula, a scholastic man of homour and great passion for music, stayed during his visit.
