In order to actively respond to the call of Xiamen leaders "Happy Walking, Volunteer Cleaning, Fresh New Amoy” and welcome the upcoming 2019 Earth Hour---globally environment protection activities "Connect to Earth", The Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen launched the staff environmental protection green walking activities on Saturday morning, March 23, 2019.

There are more than 60 hotel employees participated in the event. The participants were uniformly dressed, with the garbage bag in their hands and a flag for environmental propaganda. The walking team departed from hotel at 9:00am, the route is along the sidewalk beside the Yanwu Bridge to the Music Square of Huandao Road with total about 10 kilometers. By picking up garbage along the way and returning share-bike to its original place, the aim of organizing employees to participate such an activity is to advocate the “low-carbon green” life-concept and lifestyle in the city, which is also our actions to response to the upcoming 2019 earth hour---"everyone work together, the environment is cleaner, the city is more beautiful".

As the Golden Leaf Green Hotel in Xiamen, it is our duties and obligations to co-build a beautiful and warm Xiamen together. This is the third consecutive year of Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen to organize staff green walking activities. By doing so, we hope to influence more citizens and tourists to pay attention to environmental protection and jointly build a beautiful Xiamen city with higher quality and good appearance. The cause of environmental protection lies in long-term commitment. When we persist year after year and call on everyone around us to work hard, our family garden will be very different. Environmental Green Walking will continue as a tradition of the Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen.
