The Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen has donated CNY 200,000 for Zhangzhou City’s Hope Engineering Fund, for construction of the Xiamen Harbourview Love Playground for Zhangzhou city’s Zhangpu County Nanpu Village Centre Primary School, which is to improve rural school conditions. On December 14th 2012, our hotel representatives travelled to Nanpu Primary School in Zhangpu County’s Nanpu village, holding a formal donation ceremony as well as the unveiling ceremony of the Harbourview Love Playground.

Awarded this year with the honour of National 5-Star Hotel Tourist Hotel status, the Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen opened in 1992, becoming Xiamen’s first international hotel. During its past 20 years of operation, our hotel has always warmheartedly contributed to charitable causes in accordance with the hotel’s carrying out of its own social responsibility, has set up a good business image alongside influential aspirations and has actively taken part in social charity events.

From the beginning to now our hotel has upheld its strategy of putting people first; building the Love Playground is a measure by the Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen for focus on education, and through this charitable event the hotel wishes not only to encourage many students to study well, but also to encourage society to place greater emphasis on knowledge and education, the fostering of talent, and to encourage a collective sense of responsibility – for talent, education, society and the future, the hotel wishes to take effort and undertake a social duty and responsibility.
