The 2019-2020 Chinese Meadin Hotel Competitiveness Index (MCI) Hotel Award Ceremony was hold at Guangzhou on December 10, 2020, the Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen was awarded the 2019-2020 China MCI Top 100. Mr. Simon Jim, the Hotel General Manager attended the ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the hotel.

The China MCI Award Ceremony is the annual ceremony jointly hosted by the China Institute of Brand Strategic Planning and Meadin research institute, especially for individual hotels. The Participants include industry investors, general managers from domestic and foreign brands, representatives of industry media, mainstream OTA platforms and mainstream video platforms, etc. The agenda includes the release of report based on big data, a sharing session for hotel executives on operations, and a marketing workshop delivered by professional masters. Gradually it becomes one of the most influential award ceremony for individual hotels.

The MCI Award List

The MCI award list is selected based on user reviews, operations and media data of individual hotels online, covering more than 50 cities, more than 10,000 hotels, and more than 40 themed ones, including scenic hotels, nostalgic hotels, mountain hotels, tea culture hotels and so on.

At the same time, it also integrates the user review data of major review sites including ctrip, tongcheng, qunar, yilong, daodao, meituan & dianping and data information of mainstream media including Sina weibo, wechat, and finally makes a multi-dimensional calculation to draw out the result. The China MCI is known by the media as the "Forbes" list of the hotel industry.
